Exhibition design
For Saluti Dalla Sicilia (Greetings from Sicily), an exhibition showcasing traditional Sicilian “Teste di Moro” ceramics, I designed the entire exhibition space, carefully planning the layout of every wall and object, along with 3D visualizations of each area. I also handled wayfinding, icons, posters, maps, brochures, and the overall branding and external communication. As a foreigner studying in Sicily, it was crucial for me to deeply understand the social and cultural contexts of modern Italy. This exhibition, set in Milan—a symbol of Northern Italy—offers a social commentary on the tensions and mutual discrimination between the North and South. Using the Teste di Moro legend and the symbolism of basil, the display explores contemporary Sicily and Italy.
